here is one simple example of why the fundie-evangelical christian fascists are one of the evilest groups of people in our society today. lets follow the logic here, and see why these people are truly one of the most detestable, evil groups of people who have ever walked this planet.
it starts with their anti abortion stance. remember, according to the fundie wack jobs, an unborn baby has absolute right to life, even at the expense of the mothers life. lets follow their chain of actions here to see why in this particular case these people are really the embodiment of evil in our world.
according to right wing neo christian fascists every child has the inalienable right to be born, regardless of any circumstances leading up to the event. rape? not a womens right to chose. its gods will. tests that show the child will be born severely retarded and the parents cannot see themselves as able to deal with it( financially, emotionally, etc), so what the childs rights come first.
but what happens when that child is born? is there any kind of universal health care coverage to help that child grow into a healthy adult. NO. the fundies vote against any kind of serious health care for everyone, because it would raise their taxes. do they support welfare for unwed mothers, so that the child can be fed and grow up to a healthy adulthood? NO. They vote against welfare, because poor people are all lazy and don't deserve to be treated with human dignity, and respect.Do they support public education, so the child has a chance to make something out of him or herself in our information technology world? NO they don't, they actively seek to destroy public education, and replace it with religious indoctrination, and actively deny everything that science has taught us over the last 500 years.
i could go on, but these examples make the point. while supporting the right of the fetus to live unconditionally, these people condemn that child to a life of suffering, and agony due to their totally unchristian views on these other subjects. and look, how many of the sign waving, protesting anti abortionists have adopted 2 or 3 or 5 unwanted children? 1 out of a 1000? 10000? a million? these people condemn millions would condemn millions of our most at risk, unwanted children to a life of agony and suffering simply because their leaders tell them that abortion is wrong.

and no I aint going to take this down because you are offended by it. it was written to expose one example of the many many evils that these people have committed against the rest of us. bushco wouldn't be in power torturing innocent people, creating concentration camps, starting wars of aggression, interfering in people personal lives etc, if the fundies/evangelicals hadn't voted and supported the corrupt and evil government that we have now. its time for fundies to carry the cross of evil they have committed against the people of the US and the world as it is.
